Yep a good soaking would do it a world of good then. Big problem is the cost of the gas to soak it in. Some people take out the stuff on the inside and then clean that in gas others will just soak the whole thing. My self I spray carb clean in to it and hope I get it clean enough to work for another 50 years or so. 30W will work fine in it also or figure it this way what you put in the engine also goes in the air cleaner
