Does anyone know if I can take the gear off the Hydraulic pump on a Super C and run the tractor? The reason is that there is a parade coming up and I am NOT going to be able to get the "touch control" unit fixed in time for the parade. The I-T manual says NOT to run the pump without any oil in it, so I was wondering if I could take the gear off the Hydraulic pump and mount the pump back on the engine to "fill in" the hole until I get time to get it fixed. Will the gear that runs the pump gear stay in place and not do damage to the engine by falling down or getting caught in something? Thanks guys!!
