Well if i were you i would sell the j.d.'s and get your self some farmalls. or did you mean with the carb? I would just make sure the float is working properlly and clean the rest of her up with carb cleaner. I like to rinse it in gas when im done as carb cleaner is some powerful stuff and pops told me it can eat away at gaskets. So i always rinse in gas. As far as the john deers go i was just kidding. My moms dad had a john deere and if i could find it I would keep it forever. I would have to make sure none of my farmalls saw it though they might act up. But if i could find it there is no question If it was for sale i would pay almost any price, as my grand dad passed on almost 2 years ago. he was a wwII vet and was born on june 6 1911. On his birth day he was in the army and was part off the battle at normandy. He refused to tell us any stories about the war. But on his death bed I had a moment alone with him and he told me some things I will never mention. So ya if i could get his john deere he owned i would be happy to have it. Even though My dad is a farmall guy and I am farmall to the bone. take care. jonnnny2006
