also, unless your alternator just happens to be a rare "pos ground system," you must make sure your H is converted to "neg ground." The alternator won't work if not. Also, you have to know if it is an internally regulated model or requires a voltage regulator. You must be positive, or you will fry the battery (maybe a new one, huh?). If it has a clip with "F" for field marked on it, you will probably need a voltage regulator (recommend AutoZone 129965 VR706). There are other issues which you must be aware of in the wiring of the system. Good luck. RKS
