Ricks, I tried looking in my books and don't have a reference to that cap, although it has to be in one of those books. I was trying to find out if it required an O ring or washer. Mine is all painted over, and if yours is shiny, that either means it has been painted to look shiny (possibly hiding a crack in that cap)or someone might have put the wrong cap on it. The hydro fluid runs through there, so you don't want to be removing that cap unless you have to or the fluid is gonna run out. Have you tried tightening it? If not, see if you can. If you have tried, then you might want to consider putting a rubber washer in there (top inside of the cap) to stop the leak. This is gonna require some fluid loss, so have a clean bucket underneath that thing before you take the cap off. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
