Yeah, I'd try retighting the bolts. If that doesn't work and it is leaking from the oil pan, drop the pan and take out the gasket and use permatex or something. I'm guessing you put in a new gasket when you overhauled the motor and it was probably one of those worthless cardboard kind they give you in the kit. I've never had any luck with those. Cork is the way to go, I think. Problem is you usually can't get a piece big enough to make an oil pan gasket.
