Should I get the md running today?

I don't know why i have been so lazy! I need to put the magneto back on the mD. I'll need to re time her too. I just need to know which plug to line up the rotor with. I know it spins back wards from what you would think. Any helpful suggestions? also where is the best place to get the filters for the diesel fuel? can i get them at my local napa or do i need to go to case ih? thanx in advance
