held mag in hand and shocked!

I had my unsuspecting wife hold the wire comming out of a spark plug hole on the dist and every 4th click she got a shock. but i too holding the mag in my hand would get a tiny shock every time she did is it normal for a little stray? when i spun it fast she yelled at me as the shock was too much for her to bear. does it sound like i can stick it back on my md now?
