Jonnnny, I don't have a MD and I don't know much about them. But from what you are describing it seems that the cam gear may be causing the problem. I have a H that did what you's is doing. Mine does have a live hyd pump mounted between the mag adapter and the mag on it. One day it would not start. When I checked things out I found the cam gear had broken. Maybe the gear on mine broke from the strain placed on it while using the front end loader. I don't know why it broke, but I replaced it with what my Case/IH dealer said was a heavier cam gear. That was 5 or 6 years ago, and so far it has been working good. Off hand I don't know of any web sites that would show you a breakdown of the parts. Maybe a service mamual for a MD would have a parts breakdown and some pictures in it that may be of some help to you. Hopefully someone else will see this that knows about the MD series, and be able to help you get it running again. Good Luck
