Just because the plugs are dry would not necessarily mean it is not getting diesel. If you have the engine set to diesel mode, the decompression valves will be closed and there will be no way for the diesel to get to the plugs, as the plugs are in the decompression chamber. If you decide to pull it, and it is in diesel mode, you should get white smoke. If not it's probably not getting fuel. I'd work on getting the gas side going first and then worry about the diesel.
