Started driving H some when I was about 8 and by the time I was 10 was putting in 12 hour days. Started driving horse and mule teams when I was 6. Last summer was at Amish farm buying strawberrys and couple of Amish boys that could not have been over 6 were driving team of huge Belgian horses pulling hay from wagons with hay fork, rope and pulley set up and 10 or 12 year old Amish girl was setting fork in hay so some kids still know how to work.
