The problem with a soap opera is they never seem to end. So today out of the blue the IHC secretary sends out my full WANTED add in an e-mail to all the members again. I had told him I'm laying off the hunt because of money, so I don't know why he did it. Hours later I get an e-mail from an IHC member who lives north of me. He says he doesn't want to do it, but he's forced to sell his family's '42 H they have owned since '54. He's wondering if I'd be interested. Well, depends on price, and how quick he needs to sell, and condition. So we'll see... STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT EPISODE OF... AS THE 38" TIRE TURNS! As some of you are aware, I'm searching for a completely restored, show-winner ready '42-44 distillate H for $500 or less, delivered to my front door for free. The search hasn't been going well with those criteria.
