The analysis of the crack and selection of the best method is an on site task. If you tell us a lot more info we may be able to help.

If the crack is outside only and has both ends visible, overlapping taper plugs that screw in are my favorite. If internal and running thorugh a gasket surface, they are usually scrap. JimN
