Not too bad a job if you have access to a loader or something to lift the front end. I had to change the camshaft on my smta a while back. The gear loostened up and put it out of time. I blocked up the motor and used my tractor loader to pull the steering bolster, radiator assembly out. You have to losten frame bolts. It is a little harder to put back together and definitely works better with 2 people. While you have the front end off check or replace belts. Another problem is getting crankshaft pulley off. When you get it together you have to time the gears. Oh, and before you put the front cover back on don't forget that little tin oil flinger on the crank shaft.
