Dave - Aside from having to handle some heavy parts changing the cam gear is pretty straightforward. Punch below for a few shots from when I replaced a damaged cam gear on my Super M several years ago. When I did mine no puller was required - both the front pulley and the old cam gear slid right off by hand.
