It is quite possible that a 606 IH radiator will fit although the outlets might have to be moved. I would advise against asking a radiator shop whether your radiator needs a new core. They will automatically assume that you just placed an order for a core and will tell you that the original is no good. Prior to going to the radiator shop, you should test it with 5-10 lbs pressure. Get some rubber expansion plugs from the plumbing dept at Home Depot. You will also need a regulator to control the pressure. I have yet to find a radiator shop that does not attempt to oversell the customer.
