Jeff, I will toss out yet another perspective: Ive had batteries that were like completely dead (but still not sulfated and totally shot) and a small wimpy few amp trickle charge would NEVER revive them. HOWEVER when I put my big honkin 50 amp charger to them they also registered NO CHARGE for maybe 20 minutes but finally came to their milk and drew a charge (low at first then increased with time) and were eventually fine. Make sure theres electtrolyte above the plates and no cells have a gray or milky color n see what happens if a bigger charger is left on for a while. John T
