If its very rusty I would sandblast. A show tractor should not be in bad enough condition to sandblast to start with, then I agree with the other guys use stripper and wire brush if at all possible. The last cub I did I used 10 13.00 wire brushes. That alone is not cheap. But you can take extra care and the sand won`t be too bad. Good Luck!
