44 H is knocking...oh well......

I was mowing with my 44 X1 gasser and it has been smoking blue when ever i put the engine under load. then clear up. she was running really good. but it dint have the oil press that i would like but about in the middle at full idel warm. and low idel at the 1/4 way mark. Well i was mowing it was dark out and i was only running around 1400 rpms or little less and all of a sudden she started knocking real bad. so i looked a oil gauge and it was in the middle so i know it was not good. so i shut her down. I don't know what im gonna do with her yet...... I have a 43 distiltburner thats on gas and runs perferct. The 44 from the day i got it it smoked and missed bad. but i got the miss to clear up and it ran good had alot of power too. but it finally went. so tommarow im gonna put my 6 foot arts way A372 mower on my 43. That was really why i bought the 44 was for the mower. I will take the beter parts off the 44 and put them on the 43. the 44 has better paint but i dont care. its the red they had to cut with yellow to make it last. The seat on my 44 sucks as it is a solid weld and no give. I would like to take and put the rear of the 44 on the 43 as the tranny i think has fast gears cause in forth it will keep up with the super. but i like to mow in 3 any ways so the 43 4th will be like the 44's 3rd. my 43 3rd makes alittle rumble when you put it in that gear so i just dont use it. i am for sure gonna put the "X1" head off the 44 on my 43 that will give her a little boost. plus swap hoods gas tank mabey the light box because my 43 dosent dim only high on both "D" and "B" the 44 would grind when starting some times then i would rock her in 5th get a good part of the gear. i like that my 43 is still six volt. plus ill take the bat box off my 44 to put on the 43. but then again i'm thinking of doing a in tractor rebuild? what do you guys think? the seat sucks on the 44 flywhhel has bad spot plus it now knocks. im thinking of taking the partsi want off and putting the rest on ebay. i hate to do it but I really like my 43 as it was my first i owned. Plus ill take the wide tires off the 44 and put them on the 43. the 44 is on 12 volt which i dont like as it is esyfix o a problume. the 6 volt dosent WHAM! the starter into the flywheel. I dont know fx the 44 as it is ok except for the darn seat which dosent give at all. I like how fast it goes.... fastest tractor i own.19-21 mph. but that might because of bigger tires. i will have to count the teeth on the 4th gear to make sure what is in there. but other than that the 44 is compleat. so is the 43 except the bat box. Sould i make 1 really good tractor out of two or fix the 44 back up? any one need any h parts? I don't know what im gonna do!
