If it's an IH switch, you'll have no problem. Every U.S. built IH tractor from the 240 up to the 88 series used that key. Got a buddy with red tractors? Ask if he's got a spare key. Got a JD dealer nearby? Go in and tell them you need a key for a LX188 lawn mower. It's the same exact key, just has "John Deere" stamped into it. They used that key on just about every mower they built until recently. Either your red or green dealer's service department might even just give you one, as they tend to accumulate.
