As posted in farmals anyone.. i know where there is a stage 1 super m that has a 9 speed and nice wide front. I was wondering how hard would it be to put it in one of my h's or super H as my md already has one. Are they interchangeable from the m to h? Also what would be fair to offer for the super m? it has swartz wide front and the m@w early style comming out top of cover 9 speed. It is stuck and not a tire can be saved. it ran last 10 year ago to blow hay into s silo and then he parked it and there it has been sitting ever since. It is sad as it was a great running tractor din't miss a bit and the rain cap was always level and did not bounce at all, But now the eliments got the best of her. the tranny still shifts and the sheet metel is strait and complete. all parts are there but sat thru many winters ans rain storms it had exsaust coverd with a rain cap on exsaust but the wind im sure blew it up and let water in. It looks to be a real chore and the serial number is missing from the tranny. But it does not have live hydrolics. Is 400 fair as i could be opening a can of worms? the rims are all shot! mabey one good front. I don't wanna insult the guy as he is a good friend and i used to help him in the past for free. he always gave my anything he had for a can of coke as long as it was cold! i got a rear end for a monte carlo for a can of coke! I have asked him for a price and he said i better go look at it first as he hasent ran it in years. I dont even know if he knows it is stuck! he is a john deere guy and lets the farmalls sit and rot. i don't know why he just din;t sell them when they ran? but he likes to crush stuff and scrap it. although he has alot of vintage farm equipment and saved most of it to this day, and probally has somthing worth alot of money and dont know it. I just like the farmall tractors. He has an old tractor with a v8 in it that does 50 mph i dont know what kind it is and it has 2 trannys. narrow front! but i got my eye on the super m if not to fix up just to harvest the front end and the 9 speed? what is a good 9 speed worth out of the tractor? as i could sell it if i dont use it. i just dont want it to sit no more if i can help it!
