No i have never had to but that is not sayen that you would not be the first. It could be that it is just sluged up and the passage is pluged , amybe somme spray cab cleaner and a blow gun will solve the problem or maybe ya got other problems like a cam bearing that turned off the top of my head i can not remember just how the oil passages run in that engine.
