My family has a 1937 International T-20 that my grandfather bought in 1940. It needs some work. The left side steering clutch is stuck, what’s it take to free one of these up? Anybody know what the thickness of the clutch lining should be? I’ve never taken the clutches out but I’m sure they need relined. My grandfather had the front idlers built up in the late 70’s because the tracks kept jumping, but the tracks are worn enough that it seems like you could almost take a link out. I’m sure it’s not easy to get a pin out of a 70 year old track though. Would you guys recommend trying to remove a link or building up the tracks? What should they be built up to and what’s the best way to do it? It also needs a bushing for the big pin that the undercarriage rotates on; anybody know where I could find one? What was the removable panel behind the seat for? Was there originally a toolbox or something under the seat? I also need an air cleaner, left side cover, and a “INTERNATIONAL” nameplate for the radiator. Some jerk ripped the original name plate off the radiator and left the corners there, still attached by the screws. Sorry for the long posting, there just isn’t much info out there on these old gals.
