After following Tractor Vet's procedure, I started up the tractor and the clutch worked better than it has for years. However, after running it for 3 or 4 hours, the clutch release is becoming jumpy. When you release, it just all of a sudden pulls, instead of gradually accelerating. Would this be related to the dump valve? Also, when adjusting pedal free play, I pushed back on the clutch assist rod from the clutch lever after it was disconnected. It wouldn't budge. When I moved the pedal, the rods into and out of the cylinder moved perfectly together, with no looseness or play anywhere. Does this mean that the cylinder is in very good shape or that I am doing something wrong? Thanks.
