jonnnny: I bought a new 560 diesel, one of the last built. Six months after I bought it an IH tachnician and I tried to see how much we could get out of a 560. We had it over 100 hp on the dyno, and turned it back to 90hp and I worked it that way for 17 years and 11,000 hours. Changed the pistons and sleeves at roughly 9,000 hours. The tractor was full out most of those hours, never had any rear end problems, but it was a pto rebuild every two years. Would I do it again, NO not to a 45 year old engine. YES I would with a new engine.
