I remember when this was happening on our farm in Iowa. One day Dad had me pump all of the gasoline out of one tank and put it in the truck tank and then fill the gas tank with water. It was easy to catch the thief after that. Surpsised to find out it was a so called good friend. I love my Dad for this. No shots were fired. Justice served.
