Sorry if I am on the Farmall board and not the implement side, but I know this board gets more traffic, and I am in need of parts today if I can find them. Does anyone have the part numbers for the ledger plates on a McCormick #31 (I think the 27V and others have the same bar)?? I am in particular need of the ledger plate in the far right (outboard) end (one sided). I recently replaced all the rock guards with the 'cheapies' from the local farm store, and put an old IH ledger plate in the far right end, and shortly thereafter the sicle 'hung' on the new ledger and sheared out my rivets. Knew when it happened and put it back in, but after only 30 minutes it happened again. Something is out of alignment, but it sure would help if I could walk in the parts dept with a part number. I may just put new ledgers in all my old guards as well as none of them align correctly and break easily. Past experience tells me I would be in there 30 minutes trying to tell them what I need only for them to tell me they cannot get the part any longer, when in reality the simply dont want to mess with it unless it is quick money or big money. Thanks in advance for any help.

No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
