The day before yesterday I went to start my Super C, which has been sitting out all winter, started once and moved in January. It started right up, but would not run unless the choke was all the way out. I thought the gas line or carb screen was probably plugged, so I shut it off to check that. As soon as I shut it off the gas started pouring out of the carb. There is a hole in the front of the carb that would have the main jet adjustment screw in it if it was an ll-fuel model, but on a straight gas engine, it is plugged with a little aluminum rivet. Apparently there had been a little moisture behind the rivet, which had frozen and pushed the rivet out of the hole. Once I figured this out, I dug around in the grass under the tractor and found the rivet. I tapped it back in, started the tractor and it ran perfectly.
