Hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor and see if there's good suction on your hand while someone cranks over the engine. You need good intake manifold vacuum to pull that atomized fuel into the combustion chamber. Worn rings, cylinders and valves carboned up and not seating
will cause poor manifold vacuum. You may want to check the compression too. Hal
