My opinion is that the problem is restriction of flow in the control box/reservoir under the gas tank. You might first try draining the fluid and removing the screen and cleaning it. Refill with HyTran or equivalent. The reservoir can be disassembled and cleaned, a kit put in and it will be as good as new. But, I will not completely rule out the pump, either.
