I had a 460 Utility in the 70's and it was the best tractor I ever owned. I resently found one and bought it, the first one I have found for sale since I sold my first 460 in 1978. They tend to be abused by ignorent people who are prone to misuse equipment because the 460 U is so tough. If it has not been abused (you can tell by looking for stress cracks in the frame and/or stripped out or broken off bolts, bent steering parts and banged up sheet metal) unrestored they bring between $3500 needing work but running to $5000 for an all original in good shape still running well. When you are looking for a restored tractor be sure the job was done right the first time by ?'s to the person who did the work or you might pay for a restored tractor but then end up paynig to re-do it later any way. I have never seen a 460 Utility Farmall, only an International 460 Utility, watch out for the white side panels being exchanged with a Farmall, the much higher and longer farm model. Find a good 460 Utility and restore and treat it well it will serve you for many years and keep its value.

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
