I don't think the early systems really care what is in them, as long as it isn't 90W. The original recommendation for touch control was 10W, so I wouldn't use anything heavier than that. There is controversy, though about the use of anything but Case-IH Hytran in, say from the 460/560--up, or anything with the "modern" hydraulic system -- I do not know.
