You might also want or need to use a pure gravity feed system, at least while you are working on your tractor. A couple of us have done this and it greatly simplifies getting fuel to the carb quickly. It takes MANY cranks for the fuel pump to fill the line above it to the carb. I used an old TroyBuilt tiller tank, mounted to the hood with bungie cords. Fuel line was clamped in place with small hose clamps. Worked like a charm until I got everything working right and switched back to standard.
