red beats green...I think.....

Wow.. I hate to admit it, but I REALLY like my 1940 H. I've been traditionally a "green" kinda guy, but have done a few red ones over the years just to have an opinon in the argument between red and green... But I bought an H cheap and went all thru it. It steers SO much better than any of my other non-power steering green ones...except for maybe my JD H, but then, shoot, it only weighs 40 lbs;) I like to use my RED H on my GREEN #5 mower. (works GREAT!) But, I have one question re the hydraulics... its either all the way up or all the way down. If I try to stop the bar part way up, the cylinder just goes back down. If I allow the cylinder to fully expand, it'll stay up all week. Is there anyway I can get a "partial" raise w/ the H hydraulics? Sometimes, I just wanna cut a little higer for just a short distance w/o having to put spacers on the cylinder...
