I wouldn't use the blue. I'd use the grey adhesive stuff. It comes in a squeeze tube as well as a big tube like the ones used for bathroom caulking. In fact you can use the same gun too.

Most current vehicles today use this stuff throughout (except for head gaskets of course) and while I'm sorta old school and prefer traditional gaskets I have come to appreciate this stuff because it really does indeed make a fine gasket. Great solution for hard or impossible to find gaskets.

You can also buy sheet gasket material too but you'll have to cut it out. It's kind of wastefull to use it if you need only one gasket though. The tube stuff is really your best bet.
