I rebuilt a 10-20 a few years ago and I don't think there were torque specs, but, since there is only a 4-1 compression ratio 70Ft lbs should do it. Start in the middle and just tighten a little and work your way outside but alternate sides to keep the pressure even. then go back to the middle and tighten some more and work you way out agian just like before and do that several times more until it is tight. Just remember this, go back the next day and retorque them again and then adjust the valves. Then when you start it up and get it good and warm, let it cool back down and retorque them again and readjust the valves again. I know sounds like a lot, but if you do it this way, it will save you a lot of trouble later. You don't want to have to pull off the hood in a few weeks and see why the valves are leaking or clacking exessivly. Those old style head gaskets crush down and need the retorquing unlike the new style head gaskets which are torque and go. I had $487 in the head on my 10-20 and I made sure I took my time getting it tightened. It paid off and was one super nice running 10-20!, Good luck with it and let us know when it is running., Bob
