I have a 1947 Super A distillate or however you spell it. It has the odd manifold. Mine was rusted out at the top and looked like a piece of thin tubing which went into a flange secured by two bolts. The parts book doesn`t show it but with a little luck a big pipe wrench will unscrew the tubing or pipe and like someone else mentioned a piece of pump pipe will screw right in. I did mine in Jan of this year just try to clean up the threads with a wire brush before installing the new pipe. Good luck!
