Gentlemen, I'd like to express my thanks to all the helpful replies my query received. I'm sure that I'll use this forum again to gain knowledge and hopefully return the favors some day. To update evryone that cared to respond, having recieved a number of possible problems, I decided to call the service center again and have them come out and take a look. The mechanic I spoke to felt that a worn shifter was the most likely culprit, and said the job would only run about $100.00. If anyone cares to know the outcome, let me know and I'll certain post a reply. Again, THANKS.
