Justin: That sounds like good numbers.. Just thought I'd add that aircraft engines are tested in a different way. A known pressure line is fed thru a regulator and then into the cyclinder when the pistion is at top dead center and that pressure is noted. The differance between the fixed pressure source and what the cyclinder\piston is able to hold is rated as the quality of compression. Its quite accurate as an indicator of "quality" of the condition of the piston\rings\cyclinder to hold up to compression.. Ya I know this is Farmall BB but I just wanted something to add as to "testing compression" in engines.. harvey
