I'm not familiar with the valve and head arrangement on the 10-20, but I recently worked over the head off of a J.D. 2 cylinder tractor that was in similar condition. The head had been off of the tractor, so all of the valves were closed and stuck tight. I measured the valve stem diameter and estimated the length of the valve guide. Then I bought a couple of low grade bolts that were just longer that the valve guide, and 1/16 inch smaller diameter than the valve stem. Using the lower grade bolt as a drive punch, I could really smack the hell out of the bolt head with a hammer without worrying about damaging the end of the valve stem. Three of my valves popped loose and came out pretty easily, but on the last valve I had to hammer it hard all the way out. I wasn't aware that my drive bolt had bent slightly below the head, and when I hit it the last time (driving the valve completely out), I split the valve guide. Even if you are careful and use plenty of penetrating oil, you will probably mushroom the ends of the valves and will need to grind them back to std. if you intend to re-use them. Good luck.
