About a month or so ago, I asked some questions about an old F-20 that we tinker around with. Well, this weekend it performed well, towing a 13x7 drill (boy, did I luck out finding a like-new JD FB drill with rope lifts in somebody's shed, but it's green and that's a story for a different forum)as well as a 7-foot packer, in fourth gear, full throttle. Just the right speed for drilling beans, and the automatic steering brakes made it easier to turn around at the end of the field than with some of the newer tractors I've used to drill beans with. Guess that F-20 will be around for quite a few more years . . . .
