F-20 exaust manifold

the mechenisim in the exaust manifold that can be adjusted for running kerosine on my F-20 is rusted fast. How does this thing work, what does it look like on the inside of the manifold, where should it be set for gas, and does anyone have any suggestions on getting this thing loose?
