I'll be glad to answer your questions. My experience is with 2 JD's that had pos ground that I converted with kits from Andy at Genesee Products. First, I switched the leads on the battery , repolarized the generator,removed the ignition resistor, installed the ignitor and fired it up. Your coil should have at least 3 ohms resistance on the primary side- but Andy can walk you thru all these steps. He is great to work with and I consider the ignitor a good value as I work both tractors and need reliability.(If you have a fuel gauge or an ammeter you may have to switch these leads as well)
