That is possible, the main supply wire needs to be on the battery side of the big starter switch. If on the other side it will get power only when the starter is turning. If the lights do not work now, that may be it. Or if the amp gauge does not show a discharge when the ignition button is pulled to on but not running. Good call. JimN
