Ummm...all I can say is don't do it. I had a Farmall C with a chevy inline 6 that I put in it myself. Yes the extra power was great....especially pullin the baler...but the transmission went out. Bought another C swapped out the rear end for it....same thing. Now this is over a course of 2 years but it still was a big hassle. Those tractors arent built for that kind of HP. To hard on 'em. another thing ....youonly have 5 acres to work...and unless its a rock cliff...you don't need that kinda power. I put hay up in these mountains without a hitch. I don'thave much of a power problem. And I make hay wherepeople are afraidto drive their trucks. If that tells ya anything Stick to the basics and the originals....you be glad you did. But if you wantto know how I did it Ill be glad to pass on the info p.s. I sold the Modified C tractor for 700 to a puller. Never heard from him since.
