I somewhat disagree with the comment, and definately with the tone. As I have purchased my first diesel truck (Dodge 3500) and have begun frequenting a similar board on the diesel subject, each post brings 2-3 ideas on the same subject, just as this one does. My premise is this, different responses are not a bad thing and if you own one of these tractors without some basic mechanical ability, then the quality of the responses is the least of your problems. Anyone with a resonable amount of ability should be able differentiate between junk and quality, and mistakes merely make you wiser. I've never worked on a tractor before (race cars are my specialty), so I'm a bit unsure and open to a wide range of solution ideas. I'll weed out the misleading stuff. Local answer charge: .02
