Seeing no one else answered your post, I will try to help. A 2656 is the industrial version of a 656 Farmall tractor. They were built from 1965-1973(that's an approximate time frame). The diesel was a D-282 engine, gas was a C-263. They were 60-65HP. As far as reliable, they were like any Hydro, take care of them & they will take care of you. Service the trans./hydraulic oil & don't try to pull heavy stuff with them & the Hydro will be pretty much troublefree. If abused, they can cost big $ to fix. That is probably an average price for one.
