In changing oils in my recently purchased Super A, I started to drain the steering gear housing and low and behold, I discovered not only the fill bolt on top of the housing, but also a grease fitting. When I opened the drain plug all I got was a thick gunk, a mixture of 90 weight oil and grease? Why the two fixtures? Do you grease it or oil it? Surely not both at the same time! Blew it out with air pressure and replaced with 90 weight oil as called for but with that fitting there it just might get greased again. Can't understand the purpose???
