Nope! That's a part #. You need to find the casting date codes. They will go something like 3-14-Z. The 3 is the month the part was cast, 14 is the day, and Z is the year. "Z" was 1954. "I" was 1939. Some letters were skipped. I can't remember exactly which ones. Someone else will have them. Post again with the date codes you find. They are located on many of the external castings.
