It was a beautiful spring day here today. Mis Pat and I both are wore out from the Plow day yesterday but it was a lot of fun, and getting bigger every year. It is nice to see tractor friends that you hadn’t seen in a while, The weather was great for it with enough of a wind that it was comfortable. Now it is time to do some real work, plus get things cleaned up for the show south of us in three weeks. I met several people from YT that stopped by to say hi It is nice getting to meet new people that you correspond with or that you read their post on here. I hope everyone made it back home safely and I hope everyone has a couple of great tractor days this year like we did. Larry

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
